Analog Data Plot

The Analog Recorder is software that allows you to monitor the values of your PLC (programmable logic controller) analog points – temperatures, pressures, levels, etc.

It does this through a graphic that plots the values as a function of time. Up to 6 points can be plotted at a time, each in a separate color and a separate scale.Individual values along a plot line are displayed using horizontal and vertical sliders - shown in yellow box in the plot to the left.

The Analog Recorder reads the values of specified PLC analog addresses and saves them to a database. The values can be displayed as they are read, providing a real time trend of the data.

The saved data can be displayed for a specified time and date.



Analog Recorder has the following additional features:

◼ The analog points to be logged can be from multiple PLC's.

◼ The analog points are logged every 60 seconds.

◼ The logged values are stored for an operator specified number of days.

◼ The is no limit on the number of points that can be read and logged

◼ The logged values can be exported to a text file.

The Analog Recorder consists of the following applications:

◼ Analog Logger - Windows PC program that reads the the analog values in the PLC and saves them
                            to a database.

◼ Analog Viewer - Windows PC program that plots the saved data. The reason these are separate
                            applications is so the Analog Viewer can be installed on multiple workstations



◼ The cost of the Analog Recorder is $1,200


The Analog Recorder is currently available for Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC's. Other PLC's are in the works.


◼ The Analog Recorder is delivered on a USB flash drive with everything necessary to install the programs, including installation and user’s manuals.
